Training (First 4 Weeks)
- As a starting point, you'll be working with our experienced technicians and electricians, to learn everything you need to know about the job.
- The team supervisors are Joel O'Connor, an Irrigation Technician with years of experience in the field, and Mick Pianto, our lead electrician.
The goal is that you learn your way around our irrigation service offering:
- Submersible and Centrifugal Pump Installations;
- Off-Grid Solar Bore Pumping Systems Installations;
- Standard Bore Services - Pump Maintenance, Chemical Dosing, Assessments, etc;
- Bore Meter Installations;
- Irrigation System Construction and Maintenance, particularly in the small to medium Commercial and Agricultural spaces.
Tasks and Responsibilities (After Training)
- Once you're ready, you'll be working generally in a 2-person crew, sometimes individually or in a crew of 3. You will be supported by our Irrigation & Pumping Manager, Bryce McGhee, and our electricians work under our Electrical Nominee, Mick Pianto.
You will be responsible for:
- Executing on irrigation and pumping systems installation and maintenance;
- Making decisions to get the best outcome on the field;
- Managing your site;
- Interacting with clients and expectation setting;
- Upholding our high-quality standard of work.
